SXPD is a violent, post-apocalyptic comic book that includes many of the conveniences digital readers have become accustomed to. SXPD is an almost seamless blend of comic book and video game, and thanks to director David Perry — best known as creator of the Earthworm Jim series — its an excellent one. Comics are very immersive stories — its more than a page of words, its a style, a feel, an energy that is emitted by the comic book artist, says Perry. I feel like youre entering the world of the comic book artist, and I think theres no better way to do that than in a video game.
