Did HTC just cancel its plans to launch the flagship phablet we’ve been waiting for?

Bad news for anyone who’s been holding out for the M8-based HTC phablet: it looks like it’s been put on ice. @evleaks has learned that HTC has “indefinitely suspended” plans to release its HTC One (M8) Prime, which was set to be the company’s flagship phablet for 2014. While phablets these days are a dime a dozen, HTC’s new phablet sounded particularly promising. @evleaks previously reported that it would be made out of “an exotic material, a composite of aluminum and liquid silicone” and would also feature an LTE Advanced Category 6 radio, which will give it the ability to download data at up to 300Mbps. Other reported specs for the Prime include a 5.5-inch quad HD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) display, a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon
