Satellite network Dish will soon offer several new devices and apps that connect to its Hopper digital video recorder. The first, called the SuperJoey, lets users record up to 8 different programs simultaneously in conjunction with the Hopper. The SuperJoey, part of Dishs kangaroo-themed TV viewing offerings, replaces the Joey, a place-shifting box that brought recorded, live and on-demand programs from the Hopper to other TVs in the house.
