Don’t get too excited about the G3’s 2TB microSD card support

The LG G3 will be one of the best Android handsets around when LG finally launches it on Tuesday. It will offer buyers several interesting features including an already confirmed high-resolution 2K display, metal or metal-like design, optical image stabilization in the camera, removable battery and support for microSD cards (both features unavailable to G2 owners) and a brand new protective case with smart functions. However, the wildest feature yet on the G3 appears to be support for up to 2TB of storage via microSD cards, which appears to be a first for smartphones, at least according to LG’s U.K. site, which mentioned the specs of the unreleased handset. Comparatively, the HTC One (M8) and Galaxy S5 offer support for microSD cards of up to 128GB
