Dragon Dictate for Mac 4 launches with new audio transcription features

Nuance on Tuesday announced Dragon Dictate for Mac 4, its latest voice recognition software, which comes bundled with features from the company’s MacSpeech Scribe OS X app that will let users transcribe text from “pre-recorded, single-speaker audio files in many different formats.” On top of the new transcribing features, Dragon Dictate for Mac 4 is also supposed to offer a “faster and more accurate voice recognition experience,” as well as “higher performance and improved management capabilities over previous versions.” Other features include controlling a Gmail inbox inside Safari or Firefox, and Apple’s Pages 4.3.
