eBay’s System Can’t Handle All the People Trying to Change Their Passwords at Once

Due to the overwhelming number of users changing their passwords at once, eBay is displaying this message to many users who click the password reset link: Rather than sending within seconds of a password reset request, as is the norm, it takes several minutes to arrive. Not a major issue for customers, but an indication of the pressure on eBays password systems.
