Emilia Clarke of Game of Thrones fame will play the key role of Sarah Connor in the upcoming Terminator franchise reboot thats expected to hit theaters in mid-2015. Clarke is perhaps best known for her role as dragon-toting Daenerys Targaryen in the Game of Thrones TV series on HBO. Deadline, which reported the casting, says Clarke beat out actress Brie Larson for what was a seminal role played by Linda Hamilton in the first two Terminator films. Clarke will be joined by Arnold Schwarzenegger and possibly Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), who is said to be currently in negotiations for the role of Connors son.
