On the series premiere of Doctor Who, the Doctor and his companion Clara find themselves in a government run society where agencies tap into millions of citizens phone records, computers, and even smartphone apps every day. Peter Capaldi also makes his debut in an outfit that makes the Doctor look like a magician from the 1920s.
