Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is opening this week to critical acclaim. Its the sequel to 2011s Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the eighth Apes film overall. Or to put it another way, its The Sequel to the Loose Remake of the Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. Okay, so that title isnt quite as catchy.
