Galaxy S5′s Retina-busting 2K display seemingly confirmed

Apple might have started the smartphone display resolution war when it debuted the iPhone 4 back in 2010, but the company really hasn’t fired any new shots since then. Of course, Apple did carry the battle over to tablets with the third-generation iPad and to laptops with the Retina MacBook, but the Retina display on Apple’s seventh-generation iPhone 5s features the same pixel density as it did on the fourth-generation iPhone 4.
