Nevertheless, 2013 still set new global download records, according to Flurry Analytics, with app downloads up by 11% on Christmas 2013 compared with the same period in 2012, and up by 91% compared with a typical December 2013 day. The company, which monitors over 400,000 apps, notes that in previous reports the jump was much higher.
