The Verge is live at Game Developers Conference 2014 in San Francisco. The annual gaming event has played host to a number of announcements this year, led by Sonys dive into the world of virtual reality. Project Morpheus, Sonys prototype VR headset, was unveiled on March 18th at the companys GDC press conference. Well-reviewed arcade racing game Asphalt 8: Airborne, developed by prolific mobile studio Gameloft, is the first game to use Twitchs recently announced mobile SDK.
