Gmail Goes Down Right as Google’s Site Reliability Team Prepped for a Reddit AMA

Just as Googles site reliability engineering team started up a pre-scheduled Ask Me Anything on Reddit on Friday, the companys entire email service went down.  Gmail is down; My Twitter feed is 100% gmail-is-down jokes.
