Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi goes live over Canada

Gogo Inflight is now officially live over Canada, promising seamless wireless connectivity to flyers traveling between the US and Canada. The announcement comes six months after Gogo won the license to provide service in the country. According to Gogo, only the first phase of the network has been pushed live. The rest will be rolled out through the first quarter of this year. The new network comes coupled with Gogos Ku band satellite technology, which provides connectivity expressly for international travelers — a market the company has been chasing with increasing zeal.
