If geek is the new chic, it doesn’t get any more chic than Google Glass. Google’s connected eyewear represents the company’s first attack on the emerging wearables market. While most other companies are content to start with wrist-worn fitness trackers and smartwatches, Google has taken a much more interesting approach by slapping a display on face-mounted hardware. The result is a unique experience with plenty of fascinating use cases. Exactly when Google plans to make Glass widely available to the public is still unclear.
