Over at The Atlantic, Ben Edwards writes about how the 38-year-old programmer resurrected a piece of the now-defunct Prodigy using a programming language called Python and a cache file laden with data. The article also explores the history of the 90s online service and the Rube Goldbergian complexity of its architecture.
