One of the downsides of owning an Android phone is that it can take you forever to get the latest software updates since each Android OEM has to work separately with different carriers before it can push out new updates. That said, some OEMs do a much better job of this than others and Computerworld has taken the time to track their performance and grade them. Google and Motorola get the best grades in Computerworld’s survey, which isn’t at all surprising given that Google creates Android and Motorola was until recently owned by Google.
