Apple has been further extending its company trademark to cover the “jewelry and watches” category in many countries it operates in, MacRumors reports, in addition to registering “iWatch” trademarks on some markets. Apple has added protection for Class 14 devices, which covers precious metals, stones and products made of those metals, including watches. Class 14 is one of the 45 different categories for goods when it comes to trademark protection.
