Here’s one way the upcoming ‘Galaxy S5 killer’ will follow Samsung’s lead

Expected to be one of the main Galaxy S5 competitors (it was even referred to as a “Galaxy S5 killer) alongside the Xperia Z2 and new HTC One model, the LG G3 is apparently going to be waterproof and dustproof, according to ETnews‘ sources. However, it’s not clear what certification the device will have, assuming the report is accurate. Comparatively, the Galaxy S5 has an IP67 certification, which means it can offer “complete protection against contact (dust tight)” and it can resist immersions in water of up to 1m. As for the Xperia Z2, the phone has IP55 and IP58 certifications, which means it’s dust protected, and can resist water jets and water submersions of up to 3m. Made popular by
