Apple is expected to launch bigger iPhone and iPad models this year, as well as a first ever smartwatch model – unofficially referred to as the iWatch – and DisplaySearch (via CNET) already has some predictions regarding the kind of displays Apple may use on its upcoming devices. The researchers mention two iPhone 6 sizes including 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, which could have LCD displays with 1600 x 900 resolution (386 pixel-per-inch density or PPI,) and 1920 x 1080 resolution (401 PPI), respectively.
