The wait for HTC’s next flagship device is nearly over. According to an invite sent out to the press on Tuesday, HTC is planning to reveal the HTC M8 on March 25th at events taking place simultaneously in New York and London. It appears that HTC will be avoiding the madhouse that is the Mobile World Congress in favor of an event dedicated solely to its own smartphone. Considering how many companies are already using MWC as a hub for major announcements, it might be the smartest play for the struggling phone maker.
