‘Imachinarium’ is a three-minute fever dream of electronics gone wild

Imachinarium is the dazzling result of Barefooted Knights attempt to conceptualize, create, and animate a universe with its own set of laws. Its a three-minute-long fever dream composed of neon colors and writhing electronics. The Belgium team took seven months to complete Imachinarium, their first stop-motion project. Approximately 4,200 RAW pictures were shot with a Canon 60D during this time. Barefooted Knights used 25 frames in every second of the film and an average of two minutes between each picture to animate a scene. …
