The Oculus Rift is one of the most exciting new pieces of technology around, and it looks like other companies arent waiting to make their own take on the virtual reality headset. Its rumored that Sony is making a device to compete with the Oculus Rift, and it appears that the company might reveal the first details tonight at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. Sony has said little about tonights session, entitled Driving the Future of Innovation at Sony Computer Entertainment, but the company does promise that the presentation will focus on innovation at PlayStation and the future of gaming. More importantly, two of the more inventive minds at PlayStation — RD director Richard Marks and colleague Anton Mikhailov — will be at the session. The two previously worked on the PlayStation Move and EyeToy, as well as additional work at the companys Magic Lab, which has done tests on eye tracking for the PlayStation 4.
