LG says it’s not making Google’s Nexus 6 handset

An LG G3-based Nexus 6 would be a dream phone for many Android enthusiasts, but LG says Google has not contacted it with Nexus 6 plans just yet, Dutch publication Draad Breuk reports. LG communications director Ken Hong apparently revealed in an interview that the company was not informed about a Nexus 6 product, joking that he either was ignored when Nexus 6 news was passed around internally, or the company will simply not be making it. Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time LG denies plans to make the next Nexus handset. Last year, a company exec said LG was not making the Nexus 5, although his comments were later retracted.
