It looks like LG had an crowd-pleasing ace up its sleeve all along: Engadget reports that the company plans on launching a round, more elegant smartwatch at IFA 2014 next week, right on the heels of the official Moto 360 debut. The LG G Watch R is teased in a currently unlisted video on LGs Mobile Global YouTube channel. Competition is certainly heating up in the smartwatch space. HTC is still expected to launch a wearable of their own in time for the holiday season, and Apples iWatch is very much on the way.
