Cloverfield director Matt Reeves is returning to big-screen blockbusters this summer with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the sequel to 2011s well-received Planet of the Apes prequel starring James Franco. The first trailer for the new installment has just debuted, teasing the impending war between man and ape thatll likely be at the heart of the film. Andy Serkis, the performance-capture artist behind Gollum, will be reprising his role as the apes leader, Caesar, while Gary Oldman and Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) will be joining in this time around. …
