In an announcement made on ABCs The View this morning and confirmed to The Verge, Thor, Marvels God of Thunder, will henceforth be a woman in the comics. The news is a major shift in Marvels continuity, since Thor is one of the oldest superheroes in the Marvel universe. Whoopi Goldberg, The Views moderator, didnt mince words when she talked about the announcement.
