Microsoft replacing ‘small number’ of faulty Xbox Ones

Microsoft’s Xbox One console launched in the US and some European markets on Friday, but some owners have been reporting disc drive issues. Microsoft is aware of the issue and says it’s affecting a very small number of Xbox One customers worldwide. Were working directly with those affected to get a replacement console to them as soon as possible through our advance exchange program, says a Microsoft spokesperson. Similar to Sony’s PlayStation 4 blue light of death issue, the Xbox One problems appear to be limited to a small number of devices, although Microsoft isn’t providing any percentage failure rates yet.
