Microsoft has just announced that it, too, sold through one million Xbox One game systems in less than 24 hours. Its not a direct comparison, however: Microsoft launched in 13 countries, while the PlayStation 4 racked up one million in only US and Canada. Either way, Microsoft says its the companys fastest selling console ever, surpassing Xbox 360 day-one sales, and that the console is now out of stock at most retailers. We are working hard to create more Xbox One consoles and look forward to fulfilling holiday gift wishes this season, wrote Xbox marketing boss Yusef Mehdi, in a press release.
