At the beginning of the year, Netflix revealed that it would be producing all of its original shows in 4K — and now some of that content is finally available to stream. Unsurprisingly, the first show to get the ultra HD treatment is Netflixs biggest original show, House of Cards. The company has confirmed that the recently launched second season of House of Cards is now available in 4K, along with some nature documentaries. Netflix had previously said that it planned to start airing 4K content in the spring. Its great news for those starving for 4K content on their expensive new TVs, but dont expect a mass rollout any time soon — Netflixs chief product officer Neil Hunt previously told The Verge that even by the end of the year the services 4K selection will still be pretty small.
