New signs point to imminent Android 4.4.3 update for Nexus devices

After two new KitKat builds were spotted online, with one of them apparently running on a Nexus 5 version, Myce has discovered new firmware versions that suggest the Android 4.4.3 update is imminent. A KTU83 version running on a Hammerhead device – the codename for the Nexus 5 – and identified as Android 4.4.3 has been discovered by the publication. Meanwhile, a KTU79 KitKat version for a Nexus 7 tablet has also been spotted on Google’s Chrome bug tracking board. The codenames reveal that these two KitKat builds are quite fresh, having been created on March 24th and March 21st, respectively.
