Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson star in this thriller that takes place a decade after society as we know it has fallen apart. Directed by David Michôd, the film will screen at the Cannes Film Festival before coming to the US this summer. The films of Eli Roth are nothing if not controversial, and his latest project seems destined to continue that tradition. The Green Inferno takes a page from divisive ‘70s horror films like Cannibal Holocaust, telling the story of a group of well-intentioned college students who travel to the jungle only to find themselves attacked by the very people they were trying to help.
