Nokia Lumia’s head of photography joining Apple

The Finnish firms smartphone camera technology is second to none and so the news that Ari Partinen will soon be arriving at Apple is creating ripples of excitement among the tech community and Apples customers alike. Much of the Apple-related talk at the moment might be about the companys reported purchase of Beats — the luxury headphone maker — but as well as sound, Apple is clearly focused on vision, and this acquisition could have an even bigger impact on future generations of the iPhone and iPad. And thats because although Nokia Lumia phones might struggle to compete with the iPhone in terms of available apps or premium build quality, when it comes to photography, nothing comes close, be it from Apple or any firm manufacturing an Android device either. As such, the news that Partinen is joining Apple — announced by Partinen himself via Twitter —  is already generating excitement.
