The companys new short-throw projector manages to pack so many wonderful features into a comparatively small device thats its a shame the images it can project are only 720p high definition even if they can be stretched up to 100 inches. Sony wowed the crowds at this years International CES when it took the wraps off its beautifully designed, short throw projector. Looking like a piece of minimalist living room furniture, the unit is able to shine a 147-inch ultra-high definition image onto the wall. Philips also used CES to demonstrate its own short-throw projector technology and its new Screeneo is also capable of projecting an image of up to 100-inches on the wall. Whats more, because the projector uses LED technology, youll never have to replace the bulb — a problem with most traditional projectors.
