Protesters march on Apple event to challenge worker wages and tax policies

A small group of protesters hit Apples event in Cupertino with large signs decrying the companys tax avoidance strategies and the wages it pays blue-collar workers. Apple, Apple, youre no good, said one person with a bullhorn. Last year, a Senate subcommittee held a hearing on the strategies that Apple and many other large corporations use to move their profits offshore to avoid US taxes.
