PS 4, ‘GTA V,’ PewDiePie Top YouTube Gaming Videos for 2013

As part of its look back at the year in Web videos, YouTube has released a list of the most-popular videos about gaming, which provides a few insights into the genre. Videos from about the PlayStation 4 take two spots in the top-ten list, including spot number one, while neither the Xbox One nor any of its exclusive games make the top ten. Looking at specific games, Grand Theft Auto V remains popular, as do League of Legends and Minecraft. First person shooters are still a top genre, with both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 videos on the list. Lastly, a certain Lets Play videomaker and commentator PewDiePie has become a force to be reckoned with. 1.
