As part of its look back at the year in Web videos, YouTube has released a list of the most-popular videos about gaming, which provides a few insights into the genre. In the latest console war, Sony appears to have a leg up on Microsoft. Videos from about the PlayStation 4 take two spots in the top-ten list, including spot number one, while neither the Xbox One nor any of its exclusive games make the top ten. Looking at specific games, Grand Theft Auto V remains popular, as do League of Legends and Minecraft. First person shooters are still a top genre, with both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 videos on the list. Lastly, a certain Lets Play videomaker and commentator PewDiePie has become a force to be reckoned with. 1. PlayStation 4 teaser, PlayStation channel This teaser video from the PlayStation 4 event in February showcased the final design of the console, controller and camera, as well as show snippets from games such as Killzone: Shadow Fall, Infamous: Second Son and Watch Dogs. 2.
