Ryan Seacrest Is Investing Millions Into a Keyboard Startup Because He Can’t Type On His iPhone

Portable television host Ryan Seacrest has the epitome of a “first world problem.” He carries around two phones, with one being not an iPhone because he finds it too difficult to type on the Apple devices. Mr. Seacrest is betting big on the plastic keyboards, which will make their debut at next month’s Consumer Electronics Show. He’s reportedly going to invest more than $5 million in the startup as it rolls out more pieces of hardware. “The back story of Seacrest’s interest in this — for many of his friends and colleagues, carrying two phones was a habit: One for typing and correspondence and an iPhone for virtually everything else.
