Samsung has announced a stronger partnership with 20th Century Fox that should help address the biggest obstacle to ultra-high-definition TVs becoming mainstream — the lack of ultra-high-definition films, TV shows and other content currently available. The two corporations plan to create an ecosystem for delivering a vast amount of varied content optimized for Samsungs existing and potential UHDTV owners and to work together to see how the technology can be used to create new types of programming and viewer experiences. Our strategic partnership with 20th Century Fox is a great example of how the industry is working towards bringing UHD content to end-consumers in the most efficient way while accelerating our ability to provide a full UHD ecosystem, said Kyungshik Lee, Senior Vice President of the Service Strategy Team of Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics.
