Samsung Galaxy S5 Reportedly Being Tested by AT&T

It could be quite a while before we see a Galaxy S4 successor, but one major U.S. carrier may have already begun testing the Galaxy S5. ATT is reportedly testing a new high-res Samsung smartphone that could be could be an international version of the next Galaxy flagship. The carrier is said to be testing a device with the model number SM-G900A, according to credible Twitter leakster @evleaks. Reports from SamMobile have suggested that the SM-G900A model number could be one variant of the Galaxy S5, and other configurations are said to have SM-G900S and SM-G900F model numbers. The Twitter account accurately leaked the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet and Lumia 2520 tablet long before they were unveiled in October. Its unclear when Samsung will announce its next major smartphone in the Galaxy S line. While some rumors pegged the Galaxy S5 for a January unveiling, more recent reports have said the phone will debut around April like its predecessors. The Galaxy S5 is rumored to run a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and could come with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Other prominent rumors surrounding the Galaxy S5s specs and features include a 16-megapixel camera, a QHD 2560 x 1440 display panel, and built-in iris scanning technology.
