The Samsung Gear 2 is the company’s second effort at a smartwatch, following last year’s ill-fated Galaxy Gear. This time around, the Gear 2 is slimmer, faster, nicer looking, and lasts longer on a charge. But with so many promising smartwatches on the horizon, is the Gear 2 enough to sway those willing to pay $299 for it?
