Samsung inadvertently calls the Galaxy S5′s display obsolete

The Galaxy S5 is only a few months old but Samsung is already saying that you shouldn’t be satisfied with its display quality. PhoneArena notices that Samsung has written a new blog post touting the virtues of the new Galaxy S5 LTE-A smartphone and its 5.1-inch WQHD Super AMOLED display. In particular, Samsung says that we shouldn’t “be satisfied with what you’re used to” from other displays, including the Galaxy S5′s own full HD 1080p display. Looking at pixel density alone, we can see why Samsung is saying this: The S5 LTE-A features a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, which is obviously stronger than the S5 display’s resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels.
