Samsung is prepping a new smartwatch that will run Googles Android Wear operating system rather than the company’s own Tizen software. Samsung’s senior vice president of product strategy, Yoon Han-kil, made the announcement during an interview with Reuters. He also said that Samsung is working towards making its existing Gear smartwatches compatible with all Android phones, as opposed to just Samsung devices.
