Samsung unveils its next big thing: The Galaxy S5

The long wait for Samsung fans is finally over: Samsung has finally taken the wraps off its Galaxy S5. There weren’t too many surprises as far as specs for the phone go — the Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM, a 2,800 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. From a design perspective, Samsung has largely kept the same winning formula it found with both the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S4: The new device still has a home button but has otherwise been designed to maximize screen real estate to show off Samsung’s gorgeous display
