Samsung’s virtual reality plans are finally taking shape

As the wearable market continues to heat up, tech companies around the world are looking to expand into every relevant category of the fledgling industry. We’ve seen smartwatches, smart glasses and even smart shoes, but the sector of the wearable field that has us most excited is virtual reality. Sony and Oculus have taken most of the spotlight up until now, but Samsung is preparing an entry of its own to reveal at IFA 2014. Now, just two weeks from the event, new photos of the Gear VR have leaked. The photos on Naver show off a headset with a markedly different look than the “Project Moonlight” leak from earlier this month, but the leaker notes that these are the actual production units
