Its been a long time coming, but the troubled SimCity is finally getting an offline mode. The game originally launched in March of last year to critical acclaim, but ongoing server problems meant that its always-online requirement made it largely unplayable for many gamers. Developer Maxis previously hinted that an offline mode was in the works back in October, and now it has finally confirmed the news.
