Sonys starting off 2014 by adding a new, smaller notebook to its Vaio line, while updating and adding to the software that comes out of the box on many of its other machines. Theres also a backlit keyboard, a solid state drive, a touchpad that works with Sonys Vaio gesture control software, and a bundled Vaio Active Pen accessory. Joining that parade of tech specs are 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Windows 8.1, both of which Sony says its rolling out to updated models of the Vaio Pro 11 and 13; The 11A, along with these other machines, will also come preloaded with Adobes Photoshop Elements 12, which Sonys pushing as something for buyers to use with its Vaio Active Pen.
