Sony targets the mid-range Android market with the Xperia M2

In addition to the Xperia Z2 smartphone and the Xperia Z2 Tablet, Sony also unveiled a mid-range device at MWC 2014: The Xperia M2. Sony claims the new device offers the “best smartphone technology in its class” – in other words, the M2 will be company’s new affordable device to take on similar mid-range phones such as the Galaxy S4 mini and the iPhone 5c. When it comes to specs, the Xperia M2 will offer a 4.8-inch qHD display (960 x 540) resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcoom Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 4G LTE support, NFC, 8-megapixel Exmor RS camera with various dedicated camera software features, 2300mAh battery and Android on board – Sony says that the Xperia
