Sprint brings down the hammer with $60 unlimited plan… but there are some catches

Sprint’s not going down without a fight. The carrier on Thursday announced a new plan for individual subscribers that would give them unlimited talk, text and data for just $60 per month, the lowest price of any unlimited data plan offered by a major wireless carrier in the United States. However, there are a couple of catches with this deal you should probably know about. First, if you’re a current Sprint customer, Re/code points out that you’ll only be able to take advantage of the deal if you “have a line that is no longer under contract, have purchased a phone using Easy Pay installment billing or add a new line of service.” Second, when looking at the fine print
