Sprint just became the best carrier in the world for music fans

Sprint has struggled to keep up recently as it’s faced major pressure from T-Mobile’s “Uncarrier” campaign and its own “Framily” campaign has been flat-out frightening at times. That said, Sprint may have finally come up with a way to lure some new subscribers on Tuesday as it announced that starting on May 9th, both new and existing customers who subscribe to its “Framily” plans will get a free six-month trial of music streaming service Spotify. This could be potentially terrific on Sprint’s network since the carrier offers unlimited smartphone data plans where there’s no risk of getting slapped with overage fees if you listen to too many songs. After the six-month trial ends, subscribers who have “Framilies” of between 1 and 5
