Terry Gilliam is probably least recognized for his work as a member of Monty Python, but is by now a larger-than-life director. After creating the iconic, bafflingly bizarre aesthetic for the troupe, he went on direct classics like 12 Monkeys and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Right now, hes working on bringing Hector Berliozs opera Benvenuto Cellini to the stage.
